BEYOND THE STOREFRONTS SCAVENGER HUNT

With the assistance of local Vancouver historian John Atkin, we have developed a history tour that incorporates a scavenger hunt at Metropolis at Metrotown.

By incorporating history based clues and word jumbles, the "Beyond the Storefronts Scavenger Hunt" is a free, educational adventure that provides students (age 12+) the opportunity to discover that the origins of the Metropolis at Metrotown complex dating back over 54 years.

Students participate either individually or in groups (groups of 5 students or less recommended), to follow the clues, solve the word jumble and/or retrieve the scavenger hunt item. At the end of the Scavenger Hunt and at the discretion of the teacher/group leader a final prize is to be distributed.

If you are visiting Metropolis at Metrotown from outside the Greater Vancouver Regional District, please print this page and bring your Metrocard Voucher with your out-of-town driver's license to one of our Customer Service kiosks and receive your complimentary Visitor Metrocard that provides 5% to 20% discounts at participating retailers.
