MEET OUR ZUMBA INSTRUCTORS

Kane (also known as Zane)
Kane is a passionate dancer and choreographer whose journey began at a young age through diverse dance styles including Lyrical, Contemporary, Afro, Ballroom, Bollywood, Brazilian, Hawaiian, Hip-hop, and Latin rhythms like Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Reggaeton. After moving to Vancouver in 2011, he discovered Zumba® and became a licensed instructor in 2013—making history as the city’s first young male Zumba® instructor.

Since then, Kane has shared his passion across cities and countries, leading classes and collaborating with Zumba® Education Specialists (ZES), Zumba® Jammers (ZJ), and ZIN™ members through master classes and global fundraisers. He holds multiple specialty certifications, allowing him to teach Zumba® to kids, adults, and seniors alike. With every class, Kane brings a fusion of culture, rhythm, and high-energy fun, creating an inclusive space where fitness meets passion.

Melanni (also known as Mel)
Mel is a licensed Zumba® and Group Fitness Instructor who brings contagious energy, upbeat choreography, and a welcoming vibe to every class. With more than five years of experience teaching in gyms and private settings, she creates sessions that blend rhythm, interval‑based movement, and positive motivation to help participants feel confident and energized. Her classes are designed to be upbeat, accessible, and genuinely fun, offering a mix of easy‑to‑follow choreography and dynamic movement that keeps participants engaged from start to finish. Mel focuses on creating a supportive atmosphere where people of all fitness levels feel welcome, encouraged, and able to challenge themselves at their own pace. Each session feels like a lively group experience rather than a workout, helping participants build confidence, improve stamina, and leave with a smile.
