Coat Drive: Help Keep Kids Warm This Winter

Date: August 24, 11 AM – 6 PM

You can make a difference! On August 24, from 11 AM to 6 PM, donate a coat or make a monetary donation and receive a $10 Walmart gift card as a thank you for your support. All donations will go directly to the Rotary Coats for Kids program, organized by the Rotary Club of Burnaby Metrotown. This initiative provides warm, water-resistant coats to every Burnaby child in need, at no cost to their families.

Accepted: Warm, waterproof children’s coats for children 14 years and under. Coats must be in new or gently used condition.

Not Accepted: Damaged or soiled coats, thin coats, or adult sized coats.

As the school year begins and winter approaches, many families in our community face difficult choices, often having to prioritize necessities like food and rent over essentials such as winter coats. Sadly, hundreds of children in our community lack the proper clothing to stay warm and dry during the colder months.

Let’s come together to ensure every child in our community has the warmth they deserve this winter.
