Coats for Kids – Warming the Burnaby Community
Coats for Kids is a heartwarming initiative dedicated to providing warm winter clothing to children in need throughout the Burnaby community. The MET is proud to support the Coats for Kids program with a donation of up to $5,000 as part of our Back-to-School initiative and will also be assisting in the distribution of coats to local schools.

With our Spend & Get program starting on Friday August 22, $5 from every redemption will be donated. What started with 48 coats donated by the Rotary Club of Burnaby, is now more than 1,300 coats donated annually to elementary and high schools across Burnaby, along with various organizations serving families in need.

Through generous contributions and strong community partnerships, Coats for Kids continues to make a lasting impact—ensuring every child has the warmth they need and the support they deserve.
