Burnaby Neighborhood House (BNH) provides programs and supports for over 20,000 residents of all ages and diverse backgrounds each year. Established in South Burnaby in 1996, BNH was created to offer a welcoming space where neighbors could connect, support one another and build a stronger, more connected community. Now, 29 years later, BNH has expanded to three Neighborhood Houses, nine Children Centres, and two Food Hubs, becoming an important resource for those living in the community.

The MET is proud to partner with Burnaby Firefighters this holiday season!

The Burnaby Firefighters are proud community supporters, hosting charitable BBQs, funding healthy snacks for Burnaby students, and raising $1 million for the McCarthy Cancer Centre at Burnaby Hospital. Among these efforts, the annual Christmas Toy Drive holds a special place. With passion and dedication, Burnaby Firefighters work to ensure every child enjoys a healthy, joyful holiday season, and we are once again excited to support this meaningful cause.

The MET is proud to support Burnaby Christmas Bureau and Toy Room this holiday season!

The Burnaby Christmas Bureau brightens the holidays for low-income families, seniors experiencing isolation and those struggling with extreme poverty. Thanks to the generosity of our community, last year we supported 873 households through our Toy Room, reaching 1,803 children with holiday gifts. We also provided hampers for 250 seniors and 650 individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

The MET is proud to partner with Artisan Farmers Market for this year’s first-ever Holiday Hive Market at The MET!

Artisan Farmers Market Society is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide communities with locally grown foods, farm products, and other locally made goods. We host three farmers’ market locations to facilitate a direct producer-to-consumer relationship. By providing this service, we aim to preserve and promote local agriculture, enhance local community and improve the overall quality of life.

The MET is proud to support Greater Vancouver Family Services this holiday season!

Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSG) is a non-profit social services agency that has supported the Lower Mainland community since 1928. A dedicated team of counsellors and youth and victim support workers work with families, youth, and survivors, with emphasis on providing trauma-informed support and client-led care. FSGV believes that through
crisis stabilization, counselling, and education, we can empower our neighbours in need to create positive change in their lives.
