ROOFTOP BEEKEEPING

Since 2013, Alvéole has been installing beehives across North American cities to educate businesses, organizations, schools, and families about bees and beekeeping, while raising awareness of issues such as pesticide use, monocultures, and biodiversity loss.

Since 2019, a rooftop beehive was installed on the rooftop at Metropolis at Metrotown, now home to approximately 7,600 bees.
